An Afternoon with Push PR

I was invited by the lovely Push PR team to spend an afternoon in their studio. I played dress-up with the remarkable garments they have available, and to end the day with a cherry on top, we had a fun Pilates session after shooting several looks.

I felt like a child in a candy shop – so much choice of beautiful clothing, accessories, footwear and make-up. I glanced around the studio, admiring what was displayed and trying my best to narrow down the variety into three outfits (I will be posting the other two looks we shot in the near future).

The first outfit I put together mirrors the matchy-matchy trend, I touched upon shades of blue. Blue is one of my favorite colors, and so I couldn’t turn down this gorgeous cape along with the matching top and trousers I have on. I selected a half suede, half leather clutch, and a necklace that had a hint of blue to continue on with the matching trend. Along with the tones of blue, the clashing of textures is what I adore.

On to our Pilates session. I have never done Pilates before, I was very excited to try it out. I’ve always heard that it’s an exercise that gives you toned and lean muscles, and that’s what I want for my body. I’m ashamed to say I haven’t worked out in over a year – this was a real motivator to get back into the routine. Sally Dixon, the founder of the activewear brand Every Second Counts led the class, I was wearing her brand’s gear too. As I’m not the most flexible person, Pilates was quite tough on me. Although, at the same time, surprisingly relaxing and I felt at ease. I would highly recommend it as an end-of-the-day activity, you really release the stress and tension that you gathered during the day.

Thank you Push PR and Sally Dixon for a lovely afternoon!
