Heddon Street Kitchen

I was recently invited to preview the menu at Gordon Ramsay’s Heddon Street Kitchen before the restaurant was open to the public. It was such an honor to be given this opportunity, I RSVP’d 'attending' in a millisecond.

Words can’t really describe how astonishingly delicious the food and cocktails were, it’s something you have to experience for yourself. Having said that, I will try my best to give you the closest description possible.

In order to get a taste of the menu, I ordered a few cocktails, starters and main courses to share amongst friends. The menu consists of a variation of cuisine – from Japanese California rolls to your classic (but exquisite) American burgers. It’s nice to have such a large choice at one restaurant if you ask me, and it’s safe to say that each meal and cocktail was more impeccable than the last.

In the photos above, the first starter is the Snow Crab Roll followed by the Stone Bass Fillet Carpaccio. Infused with incredible flavor, the starters literally melted in my mouth.

The cocktail is called Grey Goose Le Fizz – I’m not usually a vodka drinker, but this cocktail is made scrumptiously subtle. I love anything with lime and this was just the zest I needed to compliment the food.

Last but definitely not least, the last photo is a main course called King Crab Thermidor. If you are a fan of seafood, this is the main for you. Topped off with a shallot salad, you’re left feeling not overly full but completely satisfied nonetheless.

Not only a restaurant with marvelous food, but the service and atmosphere get five gold stars from me too. A place to take your family, friends and/or partner, I don’t see how Heddon Street Kitchen could disappoint you in any way.

Thank you to the Heddon Street Kitchen team for having me! It was an absolute delight, you’ll be seeing me soon again.
