Coffee dates with divine desserts – another way Gabi and I love to spend our day. We’re both obsessed with our coffee and sweet indulgences. But I mean, who isn’t?
Besides the many traits I mentioned we have in common in my last blog post, yet another is that neither of us can start the day without the first cup of coffee – we can’t think of doing anything until a cup has been served. Moving on from the first, there are usually others during the day too. Without a doubt on a busy working day at the office there are several cups to help with stress and fatigue, but on weekends we enjoy peacefully complementing sweeter goodies with the coffee we’re so obsessed with.
The both of us like to experiment with new places, taste new recipes and experience the London social scene as a whole. This weekend, we decided to spend an afternoon in the harmonious courtyard of Blakes Hotel to spoil ourselves with a sweet treat.
We ordered a creamy ginger and strawberry cheesecake along with a mille-feuille pastry. The pastry was filled with green tea and vanilla cream and had maple toffee surrounding it. Sounds scrumptious, right? It truly was!
Speaking of sweet treats, we both arrived matching in our PANDORA ESSENCE jewellery that I got for us last week. Friendship charms like no other, these gorgeous accessories even complete our coffee dates!
As you can see, we have different charms on our necklaces and bracelets. These charms represent characteristics that I feel define us individually as well as our friendship. Plus, I can’t avoid admitting that I like pink and purple slightly more than Gabi does and I knew she would love the pastel blue and marble, which she did.
The charms on my bracelets signify faith, passion and friendship while my necklace charm symbolizes loyalty. Gabi’s necklace charm represents dignity while her bracelet charms convey loyalty, positivity and compassion. Not only are the charms beautiful and coordinate with most of our outfits (and desserts!) but they hold meaningful values that we can deeply relate to.
I’d say they are the perfect gift for someone you care for or simply a stylish accessory for yourself. I can’t get enough of the collection, I’m making it my mission to stack my bracelet and necklaces with these dazzling charms *hint hint if you’re ever buying me a gift*.
